Museums

Step from your yacht into the magic of the Palm Beaches museums.

Palm Beach offers a wide variety of museums; there is something for everyone! Palm Beach is home to internationally known museums that are host to American Art, Chinese Art, Contemporary Art, European Art, and Photography. If you are interested in visiting a museum, while still enjoying the beautiful Florida sun, there is an outdoor sculpture garden to explore. Along with the beautiful sculptures, you are able to tour the grounds, which are listed in the National Register of Historic Places. If the arts aren't appealing to you, there is also a science museum. This museum serves as an educational and cultural resource for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Many of the structures that now house the museums and galleries were originally built as single-family homes for some of the countries wealthiest families. Several of the homes are also on the National Register of Historic Places.

When it comes to culture in Florida it's hard to beat the Palm Beaches. Along with the plethora of museums, you also can also plan ahead to catch an outdoor concert, musical, or even some Shakespeare in the park. There's a reason Palm Beach is called Florida’s Cultural Capital®.
